After Care

Gentle care during this time will help achieve the most beautiful and long-lasting results.

- Your brows may appear darker and more defined at first
- Mild redness or slight swelling is normal and usually settles within 24–48 hours
- Please avoid touching your brows with unclean hands
This is all part of the natural healing process — your skin is simply adjusting.
During the healing period, please care for your brows gently:
- Keep the brow area clean and dry
- Avoid makeup on or around the brows
- Do not apply creams, ointments, or skincare products unless instructed
- Avoid scratching, rubbing, or picking
- Avoid direct water contact on the brows
Picking or scratching can affect pigment retention and healing results.
For at least 7–14 days, we recommend avoiding:
- Brow makeup
- Excessive sweating or intense exercise
- Swimming, hot tubs, saunas, or steam rooms
- Sun exposure and tanning
- UV light exposure
- Retinol, exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), or active skincare near the brows
Giving your brows time to rest allows the pigment to settle beautifully.
- Brows will gradually soften and lighten as healing progresses
- Final healed results are typically visible around 6–8 weeks
- Results generally last 1–3 years, depending on skin type and lifestyle
- Once fully healed, applying SPF 45+ can help protect and prolong your results
- A touch-up appointment is recommended 6–8 weeks after your initial session
- Annual touch-ups may help maintain color, shape, and overall freshness

Before Your Appointment

Pre-Care Instructions:

To help your appointment go smoothly and achieve the best results, please keep the following in mind:

• Please avoid coffee, alcohol, and pain-relief medication such as aspirin or ibuprofen for 24 hours before your appointment, as these may increase sensitivity

• Do not wax, tint, or thread your eyebrows a few days before your treatment

• Avoid using retinol or exfoliating skincare products around the brow area for one week prior

• Your skin should be calm and healthy — microblading cannot be performed on sunburned, irritated, or broken skin

• If you have had Botox or fillers near the brow area, please allow at least 2 weeks before booking

• For safety reasons, this treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or while nursing

Common Permanent Makeup Questions

Permanent makeup typically lasts 1.5–3 years. The duration depends on factors like skin type, age, lifestyle, and pigment color. Darker pigments usually take longer to fade.
The procedure is completed in two appointments: the initial session and a touch-up 6 weeks later. Brows: Initial session – 2 to 2.5 hours | Touch-up – 1 hourThis ensures the best results and longevity of your permanent makeup.
Permanent eyebrow makeup typically takes up to 4 weeks to fully heal. Immediately after the procedure, brows may appear darker and more intense. As the skin heals and any flaking falls off, the color will soften and settle to its final shade.
It depends on the color, depth, and shape of existing brows. Light, shallow, and well-shaped brows may be corrected. Brows with blue, green, red, or purple pigments, or uneven shapes, usually require removal before a new procedure.
• “Permanent” means long-lasting, not forever.
• Over time, pigments gradually fade and may change color.
• Touch-ups are recommended every 12–24 months.
